AMS Survey: 75% of Meteorologists DO NOT think most global warming is human induced!

AMS Web Site        The Survey   survey     (Local copy)

A survey of meterologists,  in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, found that “half of this sample [of meteorologists] disagreed with the consensus that “most of the warming since 1950 is very likely human-induced.” Just one-quarter of the sample agreed (16%) or strongly agreed (8%) with the statement. Clearly, many on-air meteorologists continue to question climate science. “ Journal of the AMERICAN METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY, October 2009  (DOI: 10.1175/2009BAMS2947.1),  page 1457  (Bold added)  (local copy)  There were 121 respondents. 94% of the respondents had at least one of the three major seals. Scientists Split 50/50 on Human Impact on Climate Change

A Purdue University survey shows that the scientific community is split on the question of whether human activities are at the root of climate change, with just over 50 percent of scientists saying that climate change is happening and that it is “caused mostly by human activities.” - See more at: http://freebeacon.com/issues/scientists-split-on-human-impact-on-climate-change/#sthash.9IzBKc8I.dpuf
